FULLCONTACT KYOKUSHINKAI KARATE

BELTS ARE NOT GIVEN HERE.

THEY ARE EARNED.

We don’t promise quick wins or easy workouts.

We promise a path that only a few will finish.

NOT EVERYONE gets a belt.

A belt is not a commodity. It’s blood, sweat and months of overcoming. If you are not ready to grind, you’ll stay a white belt forever.

NOT EVERYONE will compete.

Fighting is a privilege. We don’t allow those who aren’t mentally or physically ready. We protect our fighters’ health, but demand nerves of steel.

NOT EVERYONE reaches Black Belt.

The path of Karate is a lifelong marathon. Most quit halfway. We are looking for those who can endure.

NOT EVERYONE thrives.

Fullcontact karate challenges your limits. It’s discipline that breaks laziness. It’s not for the faint of heart.

Denis Martial Arts Academy

Founder & Head Instructor

Sensei Denis 3rd Dan,

My journey in the world of martial arts began in 1989 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. What started as a personal passion for training and competing evolved into a lifelong mission. In 1995, I stepped onto the path of coaching, and since then, karate has become more than a profession—it is my calling.

Over the past three decades, I have had the honor of raising a "galaxy" of students. My greatest pride is the trust of my students, many of whom now bring their own children to train with me. In my dojo, karate is a family affair, passed down through generations.

A Legacy of Excellence

Throughout my career, I have coached a World Champion, as well as numerous winners of international and regional tournaments. In 2013, I founded my own Full-Contact Karate school, which continues to thrive today under the leadership of one of my top students. My experience also includes years of organizing and hosting prestigious international and city-wide championships.

  • In 2024, my family and I immigrated to the United States, where I established the DENIS Martial Arts Academy. My goal is to popularize authentic, traditional Full-Contact Karate—a discipline that is as beautiful as it is rigorous.

We believe that karate develops the essential qualities for a successful life:

    • Self-discipline & Perseverance

    • Physical Strength & Mastery

    • Unshakeable Spirit & Character

In today's digital age, it is more important than ever to stay physically active. While the younger generation excels with gadgets, our mission is to teach them the value of "real-world" communication and physical interaction. This balance is what creates a truly well-rounded individual in our modern society.on text goes here.

  • We are moving forward with clear goals:

    • Opening a fully equipped, state-of-the-art martial arts facility.

    • Compete with our team in all available regional and national tournaments.

    • Organizing the first Open Full-Contact Karate Tournament for children and adults.

    • Hosting an annual Summer Sports Camp open to all enthusiasts.ption text goes here

At Denis Martial Arts Academy, we welcome everyone ready to share the "Way of Karate."

We are more than just a school, we are a family - united, strong and invincible.

Sensei Denis Kharitonov

HARD RULES. REAL RESULTS.

NO PARTICIPATION TROPHIES. We do not reward mediocrity.

NO SPECIAL TREATMENT. Every student is equal on the mat.

NO SHOW-OFF TRAINING. We forge skills, not social media content.

NO COMFORT ZONES. Growth starts where comfort ends.

NO EXCUSES. Discipline is doing what needs to be done, even when you don't feel like it.

True Resilience: When a child earns a belt through struggle, they gain confidence that cannot be broken by life’s challenges.

Emotional Intgelligence: By learning to handle "No" and "Try again," your child develops patience and emotional control.

Focus & Discipline: In a world of distractions, we teach the art of absolute concentration and respect for authority.

The Value of Effort: Your child will learn that nothing of value is given for free. Everything is earned.

VOICES FROM THE DOJO

  • "I was shocked at first that my son didn't get a medal at the first tournament. But seeing him go back to the gym and work twice as hard was worth more than any piece of plastic. This school builds men."

    - Mark T.

  • "If you want a playground, go elsewhere. If you want your daughter to have a backbone and self-respect, bring her to Denis. It’s the best decision we’ve made."

    - SARAH L.

  • "True Kyokushin school. No sugar-coating, no fake medals. If you're looking for a place to really challenge your kids and build their character, this is it. Best dojo in the area."

    - Alex T.
